Carseat recover

Wednesday, February 2, 2011

Do you see this pink carseat? This ugly, dirty pink carseat. This was a carseat that Cam's Mommy was given as an extra carseat to use in case I ever need one or whoever. {Like a few months ago when we lost power for about an hour and didn't have a carseat for him so we could go somewhere else} Anyways, as VERY grateful we were to have an extra carseat to have around in case we need it, I wasn't about to have that sweet little boy sit in this pink carseat. So I decided that I was going to do something about it and recover it!

I picked out these awesome fabrics and then went to town! I took ever seam out of the carseat and took every piece apart one side at a time and recovering it and then sewing it back together. You can see in the pic below that I hadn't sewn the one side back on yet.
When it was all back together, I trimmed it out with the black and white fabric and I LOVE how it turned out!

No more pink carseat for Mr. Campbell! He now will ride in style! HA!
