Love

Hey y'all! I hate that I haven't blogged in months like I used to!! These two crazy boys I have have been keeping me crazy busy and loving every.... Err... Almost every minute!!

A lot has been going on in our life's! From a new mini to finding a church we like to working hard and playing harder!

Holden is growing up so fast and I can't believe that we are already starting to plan his birthday!! He is just SO, SO smart and he loves his mama so big. : )

Rylan goes about 99 miles an hour and is so full of life. He seriously is the happiest baby I have ever seen! Some days I'm convinced he's going to make me crazy but I wouldn't trade his happy, healthy self for anything in the world!!

So that's a little of what we have been up to!! I'm making it my mission to blog more! I love being able to look back on how far our family has come!

Forever... And a day

It has been forever since I have blogged! I think I have been in a blog coma and can't believe how much I haven't blogged about. We are doing wonderful and the boys are getting bigger and smarter everyday! I have been super busy loving on these sweet boys of mine and soaking up every min with them. They are just growing up so fast! I'm also staying busy with Holden's Hut and making tons of cute stuff! Jack is staying busy with work and we are just having a ball with our two boys. I have a TON of blogs to fill in the gaps, but here are some pics over the last few weeks!! : )

A pool and a fire

Whew-what a fun filled weekend we have had! Yesterday we spent time running errands and going to the park to play. Today we stayed around the house most of the day then went to my dads house for dinner and swimming. Not much swimming really went on but Holden had a blast squirting everyone with his squirt gun!

We also had our fill of entertainment when the next mountain over from their house caught fire and they had to come up dads driveway to get to the woods where the fire was. Jack and my step brother Jackson decided they wanted to follow the firemen to see the fire so there is a pic below. Holden just loved seeing all the fireman, fire truck and the huge tractor they brought in to help control the fire. Luckily it was about a mile from their house, do we were all safe enough away.

Pinterest{of course}

A few months back, while surfing thru Pinterest's THOUSANDS of pins, I came across some painted canvases that I really liked. We have always needed something above our bed, but I never found something that I just loved until I found these!

I love them so much I decided that I could make them my self with our colors. So I did and I LOVE how they turned out!!

What do you think?? I also made a new cover for our comforter that it grey and white striped and it all looks soo good together.

101 and the flu

Today my sweet Rylan is 101 days old. Those 101 days have been so incredible and he is such a sweet and happy baby. We have had a super crazy past few weeks and have had a lot of fun from Jack's sisters, bro in laws and beautiful niece Sophia coming in town to an awesome 30th unsurprised birthday party for him... And not so fun moments.

Well maybe just two not so fun moments.

One of which when Jack sliced his finger open at work 11 days ago and 11 stitches later, today is his first day back.

The other not so fun moment came yesterday. Mr. Holden woke up with a fever of 104. So off to the doctor we went only to find out he has the flu. Poor guy really feels bad. Did you know when the doctor tells you your child has the flu AND you have a three month old at home the doc kinda freaks. So after an escort by a nurse out the back door, totally not kidding, and meds for Holden and Rylan, we are hunkering down at home at least for the time being until everyone is fever free.

But so far Holden is the only one sick and Rylan is still his happy normal self!

Another Pinterest creation

Y'all I am having so much fun trying out lots of new recipes and crafts and what nots off of pinterest! A few weeks ago I made this but just got around to hanging it in my bathroom today. It sits perfectly between my closet and shower and I LOVE how it turned out! I took the idea off of pinterest but did add my own spin on it. And I might be a little partial, but I do have to say I like mine better! I even personalized it with our wedding date. : ) {mine of course is the top. They other was the one off of pinterest}

Last night we even had a pinterest party and tried out lots of recipes and they were all soo good! It was super fun!! I'll have to do a separate post just on all the yumminess we had!

Anyone else trying out a bunch of things off of pinterest?? I would live to hear what you have made and liked!!

Just a few thoughts

Hello! Here are a bunch of random things running thru my head with a few pics of my babes

* One of these days I AM going to go to bed before 1 am.... Maybe
* Yesterday we took Holden to ride the train in the mall. I think he liked it but was super tired(picture below)
* I am been sewing again this week and it feels awesome! I couldn't do much in the last few months I was prego with Rylan just because I would get so wore out. And I have made some of my fav tees ever!
* Jack has been jobless for two months now. He had an interview that sounded super promising last week but we haven't heard anything else yet.
* We are all finally over the stomach bug. It was bad and I feel SOO bad because my mom helped out with the boys when I was sick last week and now she has the bug
* Rylan is the sweetest baby ever but he has been getting a lot of gas lately(tmi?) and spitting up more. We changed his formula last week to see if that would help but so far it hasn't. He goes for his one month check up this week so we will see what the doctor says
* While driving down the road today Holden started singing along to "Red Solo Cup" now that's a kid after my heart! So funny!
* Speaking of Holden, we are down to one pass pass(paci). He had gotten on such a habit of sleeping with one in his mouth and multiple(like 2 or 3) in his hands at night. Well last week he forgot three at moms and was down to two here at home. And then he lost one
* I am SO addicted to Pinterest that it isn't funny. Exact that it is. Oh and words with friends. I actually sat in a room with three friends the other night and for over 30 min we didn't talk to each other cause we were so busy playing each other! Totally sad!! Lol!!

That's all I've got for now and remember I'm going to bed before 1! Ha!

Big day

Yesterday was a big day around our house. Well maybe not that big but it was to me. Jack caught Holden's stomach bug and started getting sick Tuesday night. So I decided that yesterday it would be good to get Holden and Rylan out of the house to try and prevent this bug from getting to Rylan and I. Holden was seeming back to his normal self so I loaded the boys up by myself and off we went!

When you have the stomach bug in your home, you run out of a few very important items. So I went to Walmart to get what we needed, WITH both boys by myself! Big deal? Probably not but I have been on 24 hour mommy care to a newborn by myself since this whole sickness started and then when you add a two year old you get wore out super fast big time. I have a whole new appreciation for single moms!

Turns out Holden wasn't 100% yet so we just stayed at my moms house long enough for him to nap then headed back home. I am really hoping that the bug has stopped and Rylan and I don't get it now!

Happy Birthday Holden!

Today we celebrated the birthday of the sweetest little boy ever! Jack didn't have any work today {which is a totally different story-he totally got laid off today for lack of work} so he was able to spend the day with us. We started off the day going to Mr. Cooper's house for the day. BUT he woke up sick so his Mommy came home from work and we spent the day just the three of us.

One of Holden's favorite things in the whole world right now is choo-choo twains so we knew we wanted to do something to do with trains for his special day. Well I have been having EXTREME back pain that nothing helps so I didn't really wasn't to go to far in case we needed to head home. Our neighbors had told us about this local train store that they take their son to and he loves. Well it turns out this store is the same place that I had my very first job but we worked out of the guys basement and now he has a store. So we headed there and while we were there he comes running thru the shop saying a train was on its way and to come see it. They are right off a main street so we were right next to the train tracks. Holden was in HEAVEN! I took him outside and sat him on the curb and he just stared the whole time the train went by. This was really his first time seeing a train so close and not in the car and he loved it so much and it totally made his day and mine just knowing how happy he was!

After we left there we ran around and did a few things and visited with his Papa and Mema before heading home. That night we took his to see Santa{which he HATED} and then went over to my parents house for dinner.

It was such a perfect day for such a sweet boy and I know he had so much fun... minus the whole seeing Santa ha!

Busy, Busy, Busy

 

Holy Moly have we become busy lately! I have so many things and pics to post but tonight, that's just not going to happen. We spent the day moving all the "baby" furniture that was in Holden's room {changing table, rocking chair and dresser} to Rylan's room and setting Holden's room up with a new dresser and some toy to get them out of my living room. 

The past week I also had to re-take my blood glucose test at my doctors office because I failed the first one by 6 points.... they called yesterday and this one came back just fine. On top of that Jack and I are working full time and have picked up another "job" being the property managers of our townhomes we live in. Oh boy. Super easy job just trying to get a bunch of things caught up on and getting some renters in. 

Holden is doing wonderful and talking more and more each day. And seriously my baby will be TWO in less than FIVE weeks!!

We both are finally over our colds that lasted for what felt like forever..... which we may or may not have passed onto my Mom... sorry Mom!

Well that's it for now! I'm heading to bed but am going to try my hardest to post Halloween pics and some others that I have on my camera tomorrow and I'll link them up when I do! 

Night all!

Now I have to go save my child now who is chasing a light from a flashlight on the floor where my oh so dear husband is shining it. Oh boy....

Some Ice and a phone

So being pregnant, each time I have reached a point where I could eat ice all.the.time! And crushed ice.. oh my! This go round, I have a little shadow who has grown to love ice as much as his Mama. Every time he sees me crunchin down on some ice he comes running going ice, ice, ice until I give him some.

He only gets the small pieces or ones that will be easy for him to chew. But to him he thinks that he is getting gold.

And then there is the phone. Oh lord. My baby thinks that he must "talk" on the phone as much as he can. And I can't just hold it up for him to talk in the phone on speaker anymore he insists on holding it and walking around just like his Daddy does.

And hes off!

I may never get to have ice to myself or my phone again ever. But as long as I can share with someone that is this cute, I am just fine with that!
