Visiting the Easter Bunny

This morning we took Holden to see the Easter Bunny. He sat there just fine and didn't seem to mind at all. I think he just likes that someone is holding him and he didn't even see the bunny! Ha!

This is when we got home and it just cracks me up! It is like he is saying "We saw that Easter Bunny and I missed it!" HA!!

I LOVE Picasa so much! He are a few pictures we took before we left and some when we got home then I made this cute little collage! He did not like th bunny ears I put on him at all!

Besides that we really don't have anything to do this weekend and we are enjoying hanging out at home. I hope that you all have wonderful weekends too!!

That wonderful song is a song that my Mom used to sing to us EVERY year on our birthday. And now Holden is singing it to her!! Happy Birthday Nana! We love you!!

This blanket is the best $5 I have ever spent! I had so blankets from Target that I used to swaddle him when he was younger and he liked holding on to them a lot. So last week I went by Target to get some more of them and ended up buying this one instead to see how he liked it and he LOVES it! He just grabs onto it and pulls it up to his face and even tries to eat it silly boy!

Because Wednesday night was HIS LAST TIME TAKING HIS MEDICINE!!!!

We are so happy that he is FINALLY able to come off of the phenobarbital after only three months! When they put him on it in the hospital they said it may be a year before he was off of it! Way to go my sweet boy showing them that you are just fine! He he is after I told him no more medicine....

Ok maybe he is just trying soooo hard to sit up so I sat him in the middle of his boppy to play.
He is such a happy baby!

The only picture I have ever taken of him right after a bath. He HATES having one so we always just try to get him in and out and his clothes on as fast as we can.

This picture is so funny to me because my step-dad Billy is saying he always has on stripes. I always just kinda laughed when he said it but now I think I believe him! HAHA!!

St. Patrick's Day and Campbell's Birthday!

We had lots of fun today! Since it was St.Patrick's Day and Campbell's birthday we played a lot and took a ton of pictures!

Holden wasn't very happy when I told him it was Cam's birthday today and he would be walking and running away from him soon!

I think he is probably deciding that he will just learn how to crawl sooner than later so he can chase him! HA! Let's hope not for awhile!

Happy 3 Month Birthday Holden!!

My sweet little Holden is THREE, yes THREE months old today! I can't believe it! He is growing up so fast and is just so much fun! Here are some pictures from him today!

Sweet Boy

So here is a little of what Holden has been up to:

• He is still wearing Size 1 diapers
• He is now in 3-6 months sleepers and anything that is 1 piece. Onsies and some pants he still wears 0-3.... He is just long and skinny : )
  
• Eats about 3-4oz every three hours during the day
  
• Usually goes to sleep around 9/9:30 every night and wakes up around 4ish to eat BUT in the past two weeks he has slept thru the night about 5 times!!
  
• I still and breastfeeding and giving him formula. I have always had a problem with milk production and don't make much so I have always given him a bottle after I feed him. But he doesn't mind either
  
• I think in the past week his vision has gotten a lot better! He loves to look around at things


• He loves talking and smiling at anyone who will talk to him


• His eyes are still blue.... I'm beginning to think we may have a blue eyed boy but we will see
  
• Still sleeps in our room in his cradle but is still good about sleeping wherever!


• Not as crazy about his car seat. We are in the car for about 2 hours every day so I can't really blame him. He is ok if he is tired and full but if he is hungry or too tired he isn't too happy. But he has been staying awake a lot more in the car and sometimes just sits in the back "talking" away!
• Still HATES baths. He screams every time he gets in.


• He has one more week from tomorrow that he has to take him medicine and then will be done!!! YIPPPEEEE!!! We can't wait to see what he is like off of them!

Our life the past week

The past week has been very busy in our house! Holden and I were both sick all last week and I was trying to help plan my Mom's surprise party for last Friday night.We are both doing better now so here are a few pictures of what we have been up to!

Sleeping at church Sunday. He got his first kiss from a girl, that he wasn't related to of course, from Shea. Shea was Michael's girlfriend and she was also in the accident. But she is doing much better now and has a sweet boyfriend named Jason.

I LOVE this one! Holden is so lucky to have TWO Great-Grandmothers (Great-Grandma Bell and Great-Grandma Hansen) and he has three Grandmothers (Nana, Meema and Grandma Trena(not sure what he is calling her yet)) He is also lucky to have THREE Great-Grandfathers (Great-Grandpa Bell, Great-Grandpa Hadley and Great-Grandpa Hansen) and three Grandfathers (Pop Pop, Papa and Grandpa Steve(not sure his name yet either))

PRAYER REQUEST NEEDED!!

First of all I am going to say I'm sorry to Chandra because I'm sure you won't like this picture of you! ha (This one is a few years old)... This is some of our best friends John and Chandra and two of their kids Rachel and Sean. I have been friends with Chandra for over 9 years and we have been through SOOOO much together and we are always there for each other! Her husband John is currently in the US Army. He just joined not long ago and is just finishing up his basic training. This week he found out that he is going to be stationed in Germany. And the rest of the family can't go. ALSO if he does end up going to Germany he is guaranteed deployment to Afghanistan within the next six months! Right now Chan and her three kids PLUS her sister's daughter, who is also in the Army, are living in North Carolina. She has a full time job and her Mom, who just moved out from Cali a few months ago with Chan's grandmother,has been having trouble with High blood pressure and has been in the hospital this week. So she is having to help take care of her Grandmother and making sure her Mom is ok. She has a lot on her plate right now and I know she could use lots of prayers! We are hoping and praying that John can switch orders with someone who was stationed in the US so he can at least stay over here for a little longer! Thank you all for all your prayers!

Just a Few New Ones...

I just wanted to post a few new ones of our sweet boy. We have both been sick this week and I am finally feeling a better and Holden still feels kinda yucky, he told me :). I took both of us to the doctor yesterday and I have a sinus infection and his doctor says he just has a cold but he is still fussy. But here are a few from this week!
