So I have seen this at the top of my page a million times. Do you know what I am talking about? Anyone who has the Navi bar at the top of their blog page has one. I went thru today and hit it maybe a few or 50 times and read and saw some pretty cute blogs. I LOVE finding new blogs to read but I am kinda picky about what I like. I love blogs that are geared towards family life and religion and whatnot along those lines. I really think I started blogging to keep all of our out of town family up to date on what we were up to and it has turned into so much more! I know I have said this many times before but I think it is so neat to be able to see what other families across the US and world are doing. Holden's Hut

I am so excited to FINALLY announce that Holden's Hut is open and ready for business!! I have been waiting for this day and it actually opened last Friday but I didn't get a chance to "announce" it on here until today! I am so excited about all that is to come! I have had so much fun sewing over the past month or so, so it only made sense to sew a few more things and try to sell some! I have to give the WHOLE blog design up to Kendra from Key Lime Blog Design! She was SOOO amazing to work with and made this whole process so much fun! And her work is so incredible! I just told her about where I came up with the name Holden's Hut and about Holden and she ran from there. She did more that I could have even imagined and I LOVE the design that she did SOOOO much! And do you see I have a new background?? That is because I am rocking one of her Freebie that she post to her site! You have to stop by and check out all of the awesome designs that she has! Fourth of July one week late!

So I know I have been major slacking in updating! I have been super busy sewing, setting up shop and playing with this little man!

We had such an awesome Fourth of July! On the 3rd, we met some neighbors at a park down the road to hang out and watch their fireworks show. I was a little worried about Holden staying awake until they started and how he would like them but he stayed awake the WHOLE time just watching everyone! And he loved the fireworks! I wish I had gotten some pictures from that night.
On the 4th, we had some friends come over to our house and we had a block party with some of our neighbors. We had so much fun and had SOOOO many fireworks that the boys all shot off for us! {We have some abandoned apartment buildings across the street from us so we set them off over there.}

I love how Holden's shirt turned out! He actually didn't get to wear it very long on the fourth after his diaper leaked during his morning nap so these were from the next day.

While we and our friends over, we let the kids play in the little pool we have and Holden loved it! He loved watching the girls that live behind us play in there pool too! He is such a big flirt.....

...... And a ladies man already!

That's right girls ya'll can all join me in my pool. There is plenty of room for... uhh.. your feet! HA

I did it!!

Sooo..... I did it! I am opening a little "shop" and selling a few things! Thank you ll so much for all of the kind works over the past few weeks that pushed me in the right direction! I am Super excited to sell some things since they are so much fun to make! I have been working on lots of onsies with ruffle butts, tees, and high chair covers and I have met an awesome girl named Kendra from Key Lime Blog Design who is designing me a blog! I am so excited about all that is happening now!

They just lost their sweet baby boy so I wanted to do something for them. No I do not know them and probably never will but I can't imagine what thy are going thru.
