Fun, Fun, Fun

We have been super busy having lots of fun lately! This week I have Cam Man staying with me cause his Mommy and Daddy are gone on vacation and oh boy. Having two boys exactly 9 months apart is super busy work 24/7. This is day 4 and we have 3 more to go.

We have been super busy watching Elmo 983 times, playing with many toys, throwing balls, taking baths, playing outside, reading books, making huge messes and just having as much fun as we can!
This is Holden's future wife Paytin. She came over last Friday night wit her Mommy and spent the night!

These two are 4 days apart and are so funny to watch together! Here they were reading the paper LOL!!

Saturday night we had a bunch of friends over for a big italian dinner. I made chicken and eggplant parm and everyone brought something different. We had pasta alfredo, sketti, fried ravioli, salad, bread, and cheesecake. It was wonderful! And so much fun!
Sunday morning Campbell came and we have been busy ever since!

He has been super busy calling all of his friends. I think here he was calling Mama and Dada.

This is the clean version of my living room right now! HA!

I do have to say that he is just miserable. Can you tell?

Luckily my baby gates came just in time to get them up before Cam got here.

Then came last night. Oh boy. Sketti for dinner. Let's just say he did get a bath after this...... I carried his whole chair to the bath....... it just happened to be in the back yard with a water hose.... I'm so not kidding. LOL! But he loved it!

As you can tell he is having no fun at all and just cries all day. Yeah well go with that! He is having so much fun!

Happy 9 month birthday Holden!!

Happy 9 month birthday Holden! It is so weird writing this post because I feel like you just turned 8 months old yesterday! These past few months have deff been the fastest so far! So here is a little of what you are up to at nine months:

This is what you think about being 9 months! I tried as hard as I could and most of the pictures were like this or him him eating the grass. Yes, you heard me correctly. He was more interested in eating the grass than anything else. Awesome.

You are now crawling and you are EVERYWHERE!! I just ordered our new baby gates last night and can not wait for them to get here! You haven't found the stairs yet somehow but I know it is coming! And you are pulling up and walking along everything as well!

You are still wearing size 3 diapers and you are wearing all kinds of sizes when it comes to clothes. Shorts still work best in 0-3 or 3-6 but pants on the other hand, oh boy. I have been keeping you in pants everyday because you have been getting horrible carpet burn on your legs and feet and the only size that fits your legs is 6-12 and they fall off of you. Shirt size or onesie you wear mostly 6-12/ 12 month but this shirt you have on was 18 month and lenght wise it is great but the sleeves are super long.

Tomorrow you go for your 9 month check up and I can't wait to see how big you are getting!

You sleep every night from about 8ish to about 6:45ish if we have to go to work and usually 7:30 on Sunday's. {Somehow he know to sleep in on Sundays} And you take about 3 or 4 hour+ naps a day.
Food wise, you aren't so crazy about it most days. Some days I will get you to take between 3-5 oz four times a day and three meals and other days you won't eat hardly anything. And that it how it is lately. I just never know what to expect. {On the other hand you can throw back some McDonald's chicken nuggets like no body's business.... not that you have tried them or anything : ) }
You are such a happy baby 99% of the time. But when you get tired some days you just loose it.

You still love Elmo and when you heard his voice on TV you stop whatever you are dong to look and just smile and laugh!
You love to dance and you just showed Nana the moves you have earlier tonight. It was the funniest thing ever!

You were not happy at this point but I wanted to get a picture of your guitar on your shirt.

Such a sweet boy!

Your eyes change everyday now so I don't have a clue what color they are going to be! Sometimes they are blue and others they are green or hazel.

You love to be held {by anyone} but are a big time Momma's boy. And I do have to admit that I love it : )

You still love the water and taking baths.

Holden, I can not even begin to tell you how amazing the past 9 months have been! You bring so much love and laughter to our house and whole family. I love you more than you will ever know and tell you many times a day. You are just perfect and I am so glad that you are mine! I love you sweet boy!

9 months....

Crazy About Him

Three years ago I married this guy and I am still just as crazy about him as the day I met him!{Ok maybe a little more!}

I have always loved this picture of him. It was after our wedding and we had just taken pictures on the beach and were arriving at our reception in the red bug.

And now I have another little guy to be crazy about.


I can't help it. I am just so crazy about them!

Three Years Ago Today...

Three years ago today the day was Saturday, September 8, 2007. It was the best day of my life. I married my best friend Jack. And what an amazing three years it has been! We were married in Jekyll Island, Georgia under a huge Oak tree. It was perfect. Hot, but perfect. It was such a beautiful day and about 175 of our closest friends and families were there to celebrate with us!

What an amazing three years it has been! And look how far we have come! Jack I love you more and more each day for the man, husband and father that you are! Here's to the next three as you said! HA!! I love you babe!

Labor day Weekend

What an awesome weekend we had this past weekend! It was filled with so many friends and our family and we just had the best time! We started off Friday night going out with some of our best friends Mandy and Bill and their two kidos Abbie and Jacob to our favorite local Japanese restaurant. Jack and I LOVE this place and we go there way too much but it is super cheap and super good! Holden loves it there but he is always so tired from all the action to stay awake the whole time. That sweet baby!

Saturday afternoon we headed down to the aquarium with our awesome neighbors. Jack and I went a few years back for his birthday but this was our first time taking Holden. He LOVED it! The only problem was it was VERY crowded and people were everywhere! But he got to look up close at the fish and he loved them!

We cam home and had a little bon fire in our pit in the back yard and it was a perfect ending to the day!

Sunday we headed over to my Mom and Billy's house for a house warming party. We had so much fun and got to see so many people. Then Sunday night we had another little bon fire. {Since it is so cool here now at night we love being able to sit outside with neighbors}

Monday we spent all day with this little guy. He is now crawling ALL over the place and pulling up on EVERYTHING. He is so much fun and loves that he can get everything that he wants now. Monday night Jack and I went out for our anniversary since it is tomorrow, we didn't want to rush home from work and try to get somewhere. So we dropped off Holden with my Mom and off we went to Red Lobster.

This little guy just melts my heart! He is the sweetest thing in the world and we love being able to soak up every minute with him!

I love the fall!

I love the Fall! And I am so glad that it is {or almost} here! These are just a few reasons why I love the fall:

* The cool fall weather

* Corn maze at Uncle Shucks

* I LOVE fall festivals

* Carmel Apple Spice drink from Starbucks

* Jack and I's anniversary is September 8

* Georgia Football! Go Dawgs!

* Carmel Candles that fill your home with such a wonderful smell

* Pumpkin Pie

* Going to Miami in October! {We are SOOO excited about this and I have already started making my list of what we need}

* Being able to turn off the air and open the windows

* Being able to spend lots of time with my two favorite people Jack and Holden

These are just a few reasons why I love fall! I am so glad that it is {almost} here!
