Holden's First Haircut

A few Saturdays ago, I decided it was time to get rid of the awesome mullet hair do that Holden had going on. Yes I know we are from the south and all. But unlike the guy that Jack and I say in a restaurant one night with my Sister and Brother In law, mullets are not cool or in fashion. So Holden's had to go.

 It was getting bad the the front wasn't much better.

 It was about half an inch long in the front and three inches long in the back. Awesome

So like any good mother {don't try this yourself at home} I sat him in his highchair on my mom's porch and went to town fixing his mullet! And now it is gone. But one the other hand he looks SO much older!

 I think he likes his new do!

I do have to add that it has been about two and a half weeks since his first haircut and ever since I have had to cut it AGAIN because it is now growing so fast!

Now if we could just work on the walking and teeth.....

Think they make dentures for babies? HA!

Tomorrow

Almost exactly two years ago to the day, I was having a great Monday. I was at work keeping these sweet three little boys that I had been keeping for almost a year. You've heard about them MANY time here. You know, Cooper, Cash and Tucker. Well remember when their daddy lost his job due to cut backs at his workplace right after I got back from visiting my new sweet baby niece Sophia? And then I lost mine. I always new that I would come back to them someday. And well now since I am not keeping Campbell, since his Mommy and Daddy gave him a new sister a few short weeks ago, I am going back to my wild children.... TOMORROW! I am soo excited! If I can't be with Campbell every day, the ONLY other place I would rather be is with his cousins! These sweet boys!

This picture cracks me up because he was playing with Campbell and Holden and making silly faces then laughing so hard and of course I caught him making one!

Pieced Jersey Pants

Remember last week when I told you about how much I LOVED this website?? Well I do. I admit I can and have spent HOURS looking over some of their amazing ideas! Well I ran across these ADORABLE pieced jersey pants and knew right away I needed to make them for Holden! Well Friday the boys and I were at my house for the day and I knew that that would be the perfect time to try these out. So I gather a huge stack of old tees from our pile of things to get rid of and went to town cutting and piecing them together. And this is how they turned out...

Holden wanted to model his pants.. or maybe I wanted him too and this is the best that I could get! HA! I am deff making him another pair of these! They just look SOO comfy and they are so soft!

Now if only he would walk so that he could wear them more.. or maybe I'll just have to make him a bunch : )
